About Shiman
Shiman Zhang is a Melbourne-based guzheng performer and music educator with 18 years of training and 8 years of teaching experience. She holds a Bachelor of Music Performance from Fujian Normal University and trained from the age of four under Lou Yinlan, later mentored by Xu Bing. Shiman performs across Melbourne’s cultural venues and events, bringing traditional Chinese aesthetics into contemporary settings through refined technique and expressive musicianship.
